So I called the Revenue Lady yesterday again! Erin told me to stop all payments to Bella/Sunflower totally. They(Bella) has been sending bills to some people telling them that their fence payment is due!! Erin told me that sending that out and telling people they owe money is FREUD!!(sp). If you get a bill saying you owe money call Erin at 785-296-6124!!! Again she said the fence is ours and that no one is taking over our contracts. If we don't want it call tri city and they will remove it but might be a removal fee! She said that she has been getting alot of calls and if she doesn't answer leave a message and she will call ya back!!! If you have an easy bill pay for Bella STOP IT. You will be out that money!!! 

Yup same info I got last time we called. Only if you made a payment you can dispute it with your bank and try to get the money back ( I know some people pay like a few months ahead like we did or the whole year which Ive heard of too). We got ours back. 

Yeah I also called the bank and they needed something from the revenus lady to say that they are shut down and crap like that. That is why I called her again. She said that she couldn't give me anything in writing. So unless we get something from JAG then we lost our money. Oh well. 

On ours we used the newspaper article that says it was seized and they took that. Worth a try :D I just printed out the article from online. 

Yup thats what the people at picernce said too. They said too that if you send checks they can still legally cash them so dont send them any money. Tricity will charge like 40 bucks to remove the fence. 

I have seen a lot of people selling their fences...Crazy!! I plan on keeping mine and taking it to the next duty station. It will save me loads of $$$ in the future! 

That was my thought too BLM. Kandice- they should be removing them for free. Thats what the lady said at least. They just get to keep the fence if they remove it 

Ok so we have a fence threw Bella and have received bills within the last month or so? So has the company shut down? are we suppose to pay our monthly bill to somebody else or what the heck,???? thanks in advance 

If you have Bella the fence is yours now. Do NOT pay them because they can still cash your checks. Do not pay any one. 

DO NOT SEND PAYMENT TO THEM! They can still legally cash them. They have been seized. YOu now OWN the fence. Its yours. If you need it removed you can call Tricity and they will remove it for free but they get to keep the fence or you can pay them to remove it for you then keep the fence. You now have no more payments on it. Its yours completly. Nobody is taking over there company. Nobody is taking over the contracts. They are null and void now. If you have paid in advance for your fence you can try going through your bank to get your money back. We gave them the article that said they had been seized and got ours back. Enjoy your fence :D 

When we called tri city and asked them to take the fence out and that we would pay we were told they won't take them out. Their company has decided not to touch the Bella Fences at all. We took our fence out today and it was actually pretty easy. 

I just received a bill for Bella Fence aka Sunflower Fence, their new number is 785-761-5007, stating that they will let us know the new address within a few days. They can't accept credit cards but will have the ability to do so on or before August 15 and to mail all payments to a PO Box. I called Erin at the Department of Revenue who gave me the number to Legal on Post. Erin stated that Bella is still seized by the KDOR and as of right now I don't have to pay it but needed to contact legal because they are advising people to pay it. Sounds like Bella is getting it squared away and will possibly be opening back up? Might be a good idea to keep all those fences until this is resolved. 

Yup I just called and they are back up. She took my name and number and said I can either pay now or wait until their lawyers are finished tieing up lose ends. I am going to wait and then if I have to pay back pay then so be it. So as stated above I would wait on selling these fences. I also asked about removal of the fences and she said she was going to have to contact their lawyers because any information she provides she wants it to be 100% correct. 

So I had a Bella Fence for about 2 years now, and now they changed their name to Sunflower, for some reason, but should I have already signed a contract or something and since it is no longer bella fence company does housing have to authorize them to have a fence up? 

So anyway I had called Erin and she had redirected me to JAG on post, saying that they were the ones tying up the loose ends. I had called Jag for a Mrs Marin, and they play stupid with me told me that they would call me back later, never got a call so go figure. I will probably head down there tomorrow and tell them I had someone remove the fence and I no longer have it. 

My friend received a bill today and it was 4 dollars more than it used to be. She called and the lady answered just saying hello and then was like oh Sunflower Fence co. And gave her the address she could go ahead and send the check. Had no explanation as to why it was more. 

Same thing happened when I called. It was just a hello, I said is this Bella? She was like no, this is Sunflower, told me to mail the payment to a p.o. box. I asked her if I could just bring a payment in and she said no not this month. I'm waiting to see what happens before I send a payment in. 

DO NOT PAY. If they can't furnish you a locate to come in and pay then they don't have a business. This sounds like a real scam. They can't transfer a business that is being penalized by the IRS. They are just trying to salvage as much money as they can. If they took Bella through IRS then they can not transfer any assets to any company especially one that is still them. It doesn't work like that. AGAIN DO NOT PAY THEM. Require proof that they are replacing Bella legally and they won't be able to do. 

My friend got a bill from Tri city this month instead of bella. I have yet to receive one and even if i do i will not pay. 

I just talked to the lady at the number posted above. She said that Jag is tieing up loose ends and they are in business and have been. "Bella" was the once seized by KDOR and not sunflower. Sunflower bought out the contracts from Bella before they were seized.

Honestly I am not paying crap until I get the ok from JAG. I will not pay to Bella or Sunflower.

I do not reccomend you sell your fences, because then you may have to purchase the fence outright from who ever owns it weather it be Bella or Sunflower. 

Funny how this company "Sunflower" is trying to say they bought out the contracts from Bella considering the bills are IDENTICAL & it's the SAME woman who used to answer Bella's calls!?!

I'm not paying a dime to Sunflower OR Bella. I'm going by what the woman at KDOR told me & not paying anyone & keeping our fence. 

PS - her saying JAG is tieing up loose ends makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever. KDOR is the one who seized their assets, not JAG. They are trying to get as much money from unsuspecting people as they can so they can TRY to keep the business (KDOR gives them 90 days from seizure to pay what they owe). Don't help this horrible company out by sending them any money! 

I was thinking the same thing, with JAG. JAG represents us, not them. This whole thing doesn't make sense. 

I told them to come take it out next week on the 3rd. If they don't show up I am taking the fence with me and they can go suck an egg. ;) 

All of us here in our loop got bills. Call Legal Assistance on Fort Riley. I did, and the lady told me that the fence is not ours. I'm truly getting sick of all the run around. Like we need to worried if we lose the fences. I wish someone would just put it in writing and say this is what is going on! Here say sucks lol.

No bill here. Picerne told us that we owned the fences now and dont have to pay and thats what i'm going with. Until they bring a cop up here to take my fence i'm not paying! 

All I can say is I have gotten the run around TOO much. I am not paying a single penny. If I owe anyone money they know were the fence is, come get it. I wish them luck if Ruby is out there too! Until I have a confirmed, and solid answer, I refuse to pay.

If we are supposed to pay, then why were people able to get money back from July's rent?? If we aren't supposed to pay why are we getting bills? If sunflower has bought the contracts then why haven't they contacted us? (I know if I took over a company priority 1 would be letting costumers know!). Why are we being told one thing by this Erin, another by Sunflower, another by JAG and still another from Picerne? There are too many loose ends/and too many inconsistent things being said. I will not give them anymore money. Yes I realize I only pay $30 and yes, it is already in the budget. That is irrelevant however, because I have not been given clear directions about what we are to do. 

ok i got my bill today and it says sunflower but the phone # is marked out and a different one is written beside it ... so my question of the day is do we pay or not pay ??????
