Back in my hometown a man was lite on fire... He was a very gentle sweet man who was brutely attacked while in his sleep.. the intruder poured rubbing alchohol on his pants and lite them on fire.. He is needing help paying for his medical bills.. I am looking for anyone who sells candles, avon, or mary kay to please help me organize something and donate profits to his needs.. 

army wifey, do you have a link to a news website that has the story? The reason I ask is because it will be a lot easier to get donations if the story garners regional or national attention. Newspapers and newscasts will also often post information on where to send donations at the end of human interest stories like these, too.

If it gets widespread attention celebrities will often reach into their pockets too. Just thinking on a larger scale because there are several broader outlets to take than Mary Kay, Avon, etc (that don't involve having to sell anything).

army wifey, I am going to send the story to ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Headline News and NBC News. Of course there are no guarantees, but if they vet the story properly it could be picked up. If it is they will contact the family of the man and ask where donations can be sent.
