I got a note about the officer and the enlisted wives club voting to join?
Has anyone heard about this? 

This is what the OCSC page posted today about it:

Yesterday, the OCSC board voted to recommend to the general membership that we begin a one year phased transition towards a fully merged officer and enlisted spouse club. This information was sent to our membership and will be put to a vote at our Sunflower Trivia Luncheon on Mar 15. The full details are posted as a note. We invite your comments and feedback, but please keep it respectful and positive. 

Intriguing; I've been a military spouse for almost sixteen years and managed to stay clear of all that. So, this is to merge Officers' spouses with enlisted spouses to one unified spouses group? Our kids go to the same schools...hmmm...I wonder what others will post. Is this just here at Riley? How would that work with all the upscalish officers' clubs? Totally unaffected?

I'm all for it. It rubbed me the wrong way when we got here that they were sperate.

In Hawaii we were all together and it was a lot of fun, rank goes out the door to me. 

I don't really associate with too many people regardless of rank so I don't care one way or another really. Unfortunately, my husband has been in over 10 yrs and all I ever seem to encounter is drama. No thanks. I keep to myself and raise our 4 kids.
