When does commissary cash checks? I wrote one other day and have yet to be cashed. Do they wait till paydays? 

No i never write checks but knows someone that use to and hers always got cashed about 2-3 days after it was written. 

I have wrote a few checks at the commissary when I have forgotten or lost my debit card. But they can cash then within a day to a few days. They do not hold them until pyaday 

Checks move like snails no matter who you give them to. 

Most stores make deposits between days, like they'll take their stuff to the bank either after closing or before opening. But even then, it still takes awhile for their bank to process it and for it to make its way back to your bank account so you can see that it's been cashed. I usually allow 2 weeks for checks to show up before I get concerned. That's why I never write checks, lol! 

Yes, it could take several days, then a few more days (depending on your bank).

Haha, me either, because they take too long to go through. We don't even have checks through our bank (USAA). I don't even pay at the pump, because it takes several days longer than if I go in and pay as debit :) 

Ugh, pay at the pump... When I had ING I had that 1$ pending charge that always reminded me that I had got fuel... with USAA theres nothing. So after a week goes by, I forget I got gas and think I might have more money than I do.

Yeah, that's why I don't pay at the pump, because it takes several days (at the least 2 days, usually more though) for it to show up and I like it to come out right away. Unless we absolutely have to pay at the pump (or my husband puts the gas in lol) we will, otherwise we always pay inside so it comes out of the bank account right away. One time it threw me off and I was so frustrated with myself for forgetting, since I was so used to everything coming out right away.
