Can anyone help me in finding a cheap running vehicle. something that isnt going to fall apart but isnt going to break me in trying to buy it. 

Whatever you do, if you end up getting something in the Briggs auction, make sure they fix EVERYTHING before you drive it away. I got my car for $2000, and that included brand new tires and a new oil pan, but there's still a check engine light on because they didn't fix the EVAP leak. Not a big deal, but I hate driving around with it on all the time.

That said, you should check out the auction, because you can get a pretty good deal. But when you make a bid, only make it a couple hundred higher than the current bid, because if you're about to win the auction, and you put in a way higher bid than what's winning, the guys who work at Briggs auction will get on at the last minute and make a bid that makes sure your highest offer is the one you end up paying. Sneaky sneaky.
