Is anyone else having problems with their children coming home with all kinds of scratches, bruises, etc that the room has not written or and cannot explain?? I have had to request twice that they write things up, filed an ice complaint, and these dumb twits still dont get that it isnt the point that they arent writing it up (which they are required to do), my main point is that they arent watching the children close enough to know what the heck is going on. I really think that all the parents having issues with this particular center playing dumb about our kids' welfare should come with me to the next town hall meeting. BTW, their cameras do not work so they cannot prove that the caregivers arent abusing our children. I am seriously considering filing a lawsuit.

Warren east or the other one?

How high up the chain have you taken this? Have you gone to the coordinator?

Also, have you removed your child or requested they be moved to another CDC?

Jewelz --- 12 years ago -

Not Warren east. Just the main Warren Rod

Yes, Tee I spoke to the coordinator who arranged for my children to be moved to another center.
She also arranged for the staff in the room to be retrained, but apparently the staff still doesnt understand that if they cant explain to me why my child is bruised and scratched im going to have a problem with it whether they write it up or not.

Regardless of the fact that they are being moved, I insisted that they be put on paid vacation or the next week until I can get them into the new center due to the fact that my son showed up with more scratches and bruises that could not be explained NOT EVEN A FULL DAY AFTER I TALKED TO THE COORDINATOR!

I am not dropping the issue because I dont feel that it has been resolved. They were happy to move me so that I would stop voicing concerns about the welfare of the kids in that daycare. I plan on taking it as high up as I need to in order to ensure they fix this issue. Whether it involves my children anymore or not, it is wrong and they need to fix it before something serious happens.

I did remove my children and then ask that they credit me for next weeks tuition bc i was afraid for their safety.

Last night for the first time I took my kids to the hourly care for deployed spouses. Well within 2 hours they called me twice about both of my kids being injured. They don't know what really happened with my first one and with my four year old his story was different from theirs! As soon as I got the second call I left the movie theater wih my daughter and went straight to go pick them up. I was told that I should take my son straight to the hospital and not let him fall asleep in the car. Really? If it was this serious they should have tol me to come right away not that he was ok until 11 at pick up time. Are they even watching the kids? I think my 11 year old could do a better job! They will never go there again!

2plushtree: The hourly care at night is not just for deployed spouses. It is for everyone. I have never had a problem with them. They go there all the time, and are great with them. The night time care has different care takers then day time care too, just an FYI. And the night time caretakers are always different each time they do the night time hourly care.

OP, I hope everything works out for your situation.

thanks Gemini

That's great it's for everyone but my concern is for the safety of my children. I'm glad you have had good experiences but my first experience was not so great. If they are supervising then I would expect them to know what happened to my kids. This all happended in a matter of less than 2 hours with both of my kids!

plus three....my sentiments exactly!

I understand, I was just letting you know that it won't be the same providers next time. Try not to judge the night time care by the day time care because it is totally different. (the day time providers get really irritated with the night providers because they always move stuff around, and lose things)

I haven't been to Warren Road in a long time, but I love Warren East.

my kiddos will be moving to 1st Division

I have heard so many bad things about the on post centers on top of the fact that they are very expensive! Off post there's a few daycare centers. My daughter actually went to KS Kids here in JC on Eisenhower back when I worked for awhile and she did great there! It was really nice and reasonably priced.
