I am in need of someone who can braid ethnic (black) hair. Someone that won't charge over $30. Someone that can do loose form (block form) braids. They are like micro braids but a lot bigger. I would like to use synthetic hair added to mine. My hair is short (1 1/2 inches)because I'm keeping it chemical free. So you should be able to grab short hair and still get the braid tight.

There are a lot of braiders in the Junk City area, but I'm honestly not sure how many would be willing to do box braids for $30. Normally braiders in the Junction City area charge $40 just for cornrows. I was used to being in places where someone would cornrow for $20 and do a full set of micros for $80, but I'm not sure if you could get that sort of treatment there.

I would probably try an ad on Craigslist; you'll get more traffic there than here. Ask if they have pictures though, because some of those kitchen braiders can make you look fabulous but they're not trained so they braid too tightly and darned near take your edges out.
