I know many of you have seen or are members of this Facebook page OSMW. I used to be a fan until recently when they started breaking all their own set rules such as posting pics w/out persons approval, using the persons name, harping on a chick b/c she wanted to name her kid "Diamond". This is what I wrote to "Six" the main instigator on the site, who BTW is supposedly an MP at Fort Riley. Your thoughts?

So this will def. be deleted but I just had to say something... Six has followers on here that kiss so much a.$.$ they would probably bow at her feet. I've wondered when "liking" this page why you always seem to brake your own set rules? No names, no pics without permission etc... Only targeting a certain group like lazy fat a$ses or coach carrying OSMW's. But when I saw the attack on the lady about baby names, thats where I had it. This is starting to turn into bullying. Its obvious to me that Six hates married people b/c shes a single parent, in fact 1 of her status's talks about being looked at funny b/c the daddy isnt around. Also for someone who I hear is an MP, you seemingly have no human heart. You dont deserve to be in that job plus I heard you suck and cant even do normal MP duties. Weather that is true or not who knows, only your fellow co workers. I will say this...I hope someone finds out about you, takes your rank and gives you ANOTHER reason to be bitter. Now go ahead...let all the haters hate b/c you wont affect me one bit. Oh go ahead and ban me too b/c you seem to do that when you dont like what someone writes even tho it breaks no "set rule". 

Oh dear.... this is my pet rock I was talking about.

I can't stand this page or any of the ones like it. They are and always have been bullying pages that judge military wives just because they think it is fun. OSMW has always broken its own rules.

Some people think it is funny and harmless, but whatever, I don't.

I just havent been bored enough to follow that page... I've never heard anything interesting come from it. 

Why do they care what she names her kid? They don't have to live with the name. 

I just ignore the page...havent had issues with it because I never see it or go search it.

Yea I read all that...I think their page has gotten worse now then back when that was written. (love it or hate it) I'd love to find out who she is, well heck some of the other admins use their own photo on their actual facebook and it wouldnt be terribly hard to find out who she is if the people were tech savvy. 

I think the page was pretty bad when it was started, then they tried toned it down a bit, and erased a lot of stuff.

I don't look at it much now, but it is probably the same as it always was. People don't always catch the really bad things they do.

I remember back in the day that people could figure out who she was in public, and people come up to her and talked to her. So, just keep an eye out. If you look at her facebook page there is a picture of her face there usually unless she has erased them. 

I would like to give them a taste of their own medicine. ;) Im going to find about 50 people to just attack their page at once going after the admins. May be childish but they deserve it.

Overly sensitive military wives

The ladies on that page are as "overly sensitive" as the women they talk about. The most petty things seem to get then riled up. I don't get it.

It's weird actually. Reminds me of grade school. But to each their own. I'm sure they realize they are no better than the women they type about. Lol. But maybe that's the point of the page? To show how sensitive military wives really are? Right? Lol. 

I liked the page when it first started honestly. Poking fun at the stereotypes (brag bags, twinkies....) but then it just went down hill. Taking pictures of people then posting them...sharing stories about people just to get others to agree and rag on them...not my taste. I used to find that stuff entertaining (I will not lie) but I wouldn't want my kids doing that to others so I'm trying to lead by example. I do have my slip ups now and then though. :-p 

I know of someone who was born with an abnormality that is physically apparent who ended up with a photo of her on that page. She did not leave her house for months, her husband was deployed, and she started either asking myself or another individual to shop for her because she was afraid of the ridicule and remarks. She is a strong person and grew up use to the stares and questions, but to have such remarks made was beyond inappropriate and the bashing was unbelievably cruel. Nobody could help her get the picture down or even get anybody legal involved. I saw that page destroy a very strong woman and it is disgusting. 

Well Brianna would you want to help my cause then? Im going to set up a page or something ...you can add me to FB if you want. B/C that story is what Im talking about. AV, its not worth the time or energy. They will just make a page in response to yours and the cycle keeps going and going...

They will eventually grow up and grow old of it. Or it will be sad seeing grown women participating in something like that. I told my husband about it a while ago and he said "I'm glad I'm not a woman." Lol.

I wouldn't be surprised if this post was the feature of the night.

Now look at me. Wasting time talking about something I don't care about. I'm stopping now. I've said too much already! ;-)
