Hi everybody, this is our first fall in Kansas and we are looking for a fun Oktoberfest celebration. Preferably one where people wear trachten and we won't look out of place in our dirndl and lederhosen. :)

I've found stuff on the internet about the Hays fest, but there aren't any details posted yet. It doesn't appear that Fort Riley will be hosting one this year, or at least I don't see it on the MWR calendar. And the Little Apple Oktoberfest doesn't seem to be happening this year either.

Anyone been to the Oktoberfest in Hermann, MO? I understand it's 4 hours away but perhaps it's worth a weekend trip? Thanks for any help!
