I'm finally leaving Kansas this year. I found my job on craigslist... best employer ever... going to miss working for them when I leave. Cheap cars are cheap for a reason, if you arent a mechanic or dont live with one, they arent cheap in the long run.

I do all my own auto work on any car (or as much as I can without specific machines so no worries there...actually got one. Noticed a lot of cars are cheep here...they would be way more in co...loving the price drop of everything coming here lol.

As for jobs...I miss the good old days when ya walked in somewhere shook someone's hand said hi I want a job I'm a hard worker told em about yourself and ya got the job. This whole impersonal thing...can't stand it.

Cant express how lucky I was to find my employer. It runs like the good ol days thing.

I'm working with the workforce place right now getting my resume in perfect shape taking some pretests to get a work cert and on Monday am going to the temp place to see what I can do. Plus Friday I'm probably gonna go donate plasma for a bit of weekend spending money.

I'm stressing trying to find work in the place where we are moving. My current company has me spoiled and nothing will be as good. Tempted to say screw it and become self-employed again, but that is a headache as well.

that sucks. you will find something tho im sure. see if your employer now will write you a letter of rec to attach to your resume...aparently it helps more than people think.

I'm going to wait til closer to when we are leaving before I start asking for letters. There are two specific people I'd like them from, but I think I should wait a few more months at least.
